Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask and Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub

Hi Beauties, welcome back to my blog! I have a lot of things planned for this blog so stay tuned!
Recently my skin has been going haywire lately. When I say I’m just extremely fed up with it, I AM! Between the excessive dry patches to the acne scarring. Oh, and don’t get me started on the break outs either. I’m just so over it all. With that being said, I’ve been trying any and everything lately. Just trying to find products that work for me and to create my own personal skin care regimen.

My most recent trial was with this skincare company called Valentia. I tried to incorporate their Detoxifying Clay Mask and Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub. They provided so many “benefits” and certain ingredients that I know works. So I gave it a go. Want to hear about my experience? Keep on reading…

With ingredients like aloe vera, jojoba beads, olive and avocado butter, the scrub did sound very hydrating and soothing. Once the container is opened you can tell! It has a strong scent. I can’t put my finger on what exactly, but it’s similar to incense the street of New York. It has a jello consistency and the beads are very fine. Maybe too fine. As I began to scrub my face using the product it started to sting a few seconds in. Immediately I stopped and my face just felt like it was heating up with slight stinging. It wasn’t unbearable, but I wasn’t expecting this to happen. I also feel as though the beads are too fine to even get a good exfoliation. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

The clay mask on the other hand, I enjoyed. Despite not really knowing what exactly the ingredients were first hand. Luckily, Google can be your best friend at times. It’s a kaolin clay that’s supposed to remove dirt and oil along with hydrating your skin. Unlike the scrub, it smells great. You can definitely smell the cranberries. Again, while using this product, expect a little stinging sensation. I can tell you though that it’s no where as bad as the scrub. This scrub I can continue to use, but maybe every other week because masks are definitely not a dry skin’s friend. Every time I use it my skin has that “refreshed” feeling. I would definitely recommend you trying this one out for yourself.
Everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently. So keep in mind, my experience may not be yours.
Till Next Time Beauties! xo
